Pizza Bros Rotorua PRIVACY POLICY

Tauranga Food Limited and its associated companies, successors, transferees and assignees (“Pizza Bros”) recognise the importance of safeguarding your personal and financial information and respect your rights under the Privacy Act 2020.

This privacy policy explains how Pizza Bros Rotorua may collect, store, use, and disclose any personal information that you provide to us when using this website.

•                     Any delivery instructions or comments.

•                     If you use a Pizza Bros voucher, we collect information about the voucher such as type of voucher, order details, date used.

•                     Providing you with the assistance, products and/or services you have requested.

•                     Allowing you to join the Pizza Bros mailing list.

Pizza Bros uses SSL to provide a secure and encrypted connection for your use of credit cards when making an order. Pizza Bros does not store any credit card details and all payments are handled by a secure, PCI compliant, third party payment gateway which is Paymark Limited T/A Worldline NZ and their fine prints can be found here.

3. ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS

This website uses advertising and analytics tools provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram) and Google LLC. These tools let us measure how well our advertising works and show our advertising to people who have visited this website.

When you visit a page on this website that carries these tools, the following is sent to Meta and to Google:

• the address of the page you are viewing, and the page you came from;

• your IP address, and information about your browser and device;

• identifiers stored in cookies these providers set in your browser, which allow them to recognise the same browser across visits and across other websites.

In addition, when you use the ordering part of this website we send Meta a record of the following actions, so that we can measure which advertising leads to orders:

• adding an item to your cart, including which item, how many, and the price;

• reaching the checkout page, including your cart total and the number of items;

Meta's tools also use a feature called automatic advanced matching. Where you enter contact details into a form on this website — such as your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, address or gender — these tools may collect those details and send them to Meta in a hashed form. Hashing converts the detail into a fixed string of characters that cannot be read back as the original value; Meta uses it only to match your visit to an existing profile so that an order can be credited to the advertising that produced it.

We never send Meta or Google your payment card details. Those are handled only by our payment provider and are never held by us.

Meta and Google act as independent parties in respect of this information and handle it under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. You can control how this information is used for advertising through the ad settings offered by each provider, and you can block or delete these cookies using your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to browse or place an order on this website.

7. CCTV PRIVACY NOTICE

Collection of Information via CCTV

Pizza Bros has installed CCTV cameras with video monitoring and recording capabilities. Signage is installed at entry to the premise notifying staff and visitors that CCTV is in operation. The areas of operation at this site may include the main dining room, kitchen facilities, storage area and pedestrian entry/exit points.

 

Purpose of Collecting Information

Pizza Bros has installed CCTV at its sites for the purposes of:

• security and loss prevention (including to deter or investigate loss or damage).

• health and safety, including monitoring and assessing safe work practices; and

• staff training and performance monitoring. 

Security and Use of the Information

Personal information collected by Pizza Bros via CCTV will be kept securely for a limited period. We usually retain CCTV footage for a period of 30 days. We may retain CCTV footage for longer if required by law, or if we think doing so is appropriate to help us with any of the purposes outlined above. Pizza Bros takes all reasonable steps to protect such personal information against loss, manipulation, misuse and unauthorised access. CCTV footage will only be viewed by authorised Pizza Bros managers and staff. Pizza Bros may use and disclose personal information collected via CCTV for the above purposes and as otherwise permitted by law, in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act. 

 

Accessing the Information

Any individual who is recorded by a Pizza Bros CCTV camera system has the right to access the footage in accordance with the Privacy Act. The individual has no right to access footage that does not relate to the individual.
